Story Behind the Logo

We feel greatly complimented that people often tell us how they really like our business logo and branding. It means a lot because it was a fun but loonngg process to develop, refine and settle on the completed design. The business was originally called TCB Tees (which meant takin' care of business t-shirts). The name was changed when we discovered that Elvis Presley's estate had rights to any garments or clothing that said TCB on it, because Elvis used to say this a lot and branded the term and TCB lettering. The original logo was similar to the final Bomb logo because it was just the "teardrop" shaped portion of the current logo.

This was inspired by some of the most recognizable corporate logos in existence. Some of the influences were.Adidas, Nike, DC Shoes, Apple Computers, Puma, CBS and Target, to name a few. You may be wondering how these brands helped us create or design since they don't really look similar. It's not the logos themselves that are the influence as much as it is the way the logos create awareness for the companies. They all have simplified visually interesting brandings that are quickly and easily recognizable.

After weeks of sketches through to computer renderings the teardrop was settled upon and then with a pinch of luck on our side when we tirelessly searching for a new name and identity after TCB feel through, we found the name bomb tees was not trademarked and we made our move to snag it. With the addition of a wick to represent the bomb and the application of the Blair font the Bomb was born! As you see I posted the original TCB logo and the standard Bomb Tees logo.

The Music Lab and Bomb Tees are a super team

While planning to make our store front debut after leaving behind my basement as our world headquarters we decided to share the store front with another young blossoming business in order to help grow both ventures simultaneously (and little bit to save money as well!) It couldn't be a better fit because The Music Lab's owner is Bill Fiebig which I've known since high school. We have also been in various bands together since 2005. With a strong history is clear that The Music Lab and Bomb Tees are a great team... better yet a dynamic duo.

With us sharing the same store front it is also ideal for promotional attempts. We can pool our resources and gain new business customers through advertising. One such case was the coupon mailer that we recently advertised with. It was a fun and simple graphic that was printed that gained more awareness of our presents to the community. Other Services that Bomb Tees Offers

Bomb Tees is based on t-shirts for sure, but we do offer quite a few other services. Some of the other things we do are pretty obvious such as sweatshirts, jackets, pants, ect. But as of the last few months we have added some other interesting services. We are now producing hats with custom vinyl applications. Which is fitting since its in the garment family. But two products we are now producing that are a bit off from the garment production are buttons and window graphics.The buttons are 1 and a half inches and can be created for any application that you deem necessary. We can produce any quantity that you may need.

The window graphics are a rare and extremely fun way to express creativity, or to represent any business venture that you may be involved in. You could use this for your businesses window information, logo, time, or basic information. But these window graphics are not only for business owners. They could be great for vehicle and custom funny says, logos, team graphics, or any other way that you'd like to express yourself. 2. We offer over 50 of our own shirt designs, which can be instantly printed on your choice of 10 t-shirt colors and 16 graphic colors.

3. Screen Printing: We work with local businesses, bands, sports teams, and event organizers to meet their needs for custom t-shirts or other custom apparel no matter how large or small their order may be.

4. Custom Window Graphics/Decals: We provide custom decals for local businesses and other groups, or just for individuals. Contact us for a quote based on your custom needs.
